Return notification of the short-lease car

If the car is no longer needed, you can always return it immediately after one month. Call or email us, or better, fill in the return notification form below so that we can discuss this properly with you.

You can submit in 2 ways:

• You can return the car yourself at our branch in Leiderdorp or one of our HuurMij Car Rental locations
• We can have the car picked up for you on location. This can be done at your home, at the office, at a dealer or at any other desired address.

The collection costs amount to €75,- excluded VAT. The actual final inspection for damage always takes place at one of our return locations. Here the last mileage is recorded and the car is filled with fuel. You remain liable for damage until the car has been returned to us at the Leiderdorp location. We will then draw up the final bill for you and transfer any overpaid amount and/or deposit to you.

We would like to give you the following tips to make the submission process as easy as possible for you:

• Remove all your personal belongings from the car in time. We are not liable for damage or loss of private items that you have left in the car.
• Place all 'loose items' that belong to the car back in the car, such as parcel shelf, car mats, charging cables, external navigation, etc.
• If you have a fuel card from us, it must also be present when you return it.
• For a proper check of the condition of the car, it must be returned as clean and tidy as possible.
• The car does not have to be returned with a full tank. The car will always be refueled by us at our location and the fuel costs will be passed on to you.
